 I just updated my x86_64 macOS 12 build system to the latest (macOS 12.1
 beta 21C5031d && Xcode 13.1 13A1030d). GRC loads but doesn't display
 anything (even when provided a GRC file to load), and GTK displays `Gtk-
 CRITICAL **: 10:27:41.320: gtk_range_add_step_timer: assertion
 'priv->timer == NULL' failed`. I'm using `+quartz -x11 +no_x11` as well as
 `+python39` ; will try a different Python.

 I also updated my ARM64 macOS 11 build system (to macOS 11.6.1 20G224 &&
 Xcode 13.1 13A1030d), and GRC runs correctly. It displays that noted info
 (`No such schema “org.gnome.desktop.interface”`) but does run correctly,
 so this is a "red herring".

 I'm guessing there is a GTK issue with macOS 12; will look at their dev
 area to see if there's anything obvious to try.
