 Thanks Ryan.  I did not realize that the default target for running tests
 is "test" not "check".  I see it is easy to fix by using the "test.target"
 keyword in the portfile.

 And it looks like the project is no longer being developed.  The last
 update was in 2008.  I doubt there are any major bugs in it though since
 the source code is a pretty straightforward and short written in c.
