 I see, well the error message is quite clear as of why this doesn't work
 currently (and likely will not work anymore in the future). Someone
 motivated enough could probably update {{{pypi2port}}}, but I would say
 people should transition to using {{{upt}}}/{{{upt-macports}}} instead.

 Please try that or just generate the Portfile by hand starting from an
 example in the tree. As I said there don't seem to be any dependencies
 besides {{{py-setuptools}}} so even doing it by hand is pretty
 straightforward.
