 Given that a number of this port's dependencies are now up-to-date -
 including `cairo`, `pango`, `lensfun`, and others - perhaps now it's
 feasible to update to the latest release.

 Note that a `gtk3` bugfix update is also pending - it's currently
 available via `gtk3-devel` - in case that's a blocker.
