 First of all {{{port info git}}} doesn't list a {{{perl5_32}}} variant. It
 will build the default {{{perl5_28}}} variant instead.

 I don't think Perl has anything to do with libgcrypt:

 I have no experience with universal builds. I avoid them like the plague.

 However, there is no such thing as the {{{ppc-intel}}} architecture. I
 have no idea what {{{lipo}}} is talking about.
