 FYI - The latest version of mtPaint is 3.50.
 I was able to compile the source, install it into /usr/local/bin and run
 it without any issues

 ./configure
 make
 su (to an Admin Account)
 sudo make install
 }}}


 So it should be fairly easy to update the port.
