 Threw together a quick PR against LegacySupport:
 https://github.com/macports/macports-legacy-support/pull/42

 If we can get this merged and rolled into {{{legacy-support-devel}}} then
 people can start playing with it.

 Inspecting the GCC source, it looks like the relevant pragma-handling code
 is basically unchanged from GCC 4.5 through 11 so hopefully the fix will
 work everywhere.
