 Interestingly enough, this port builds just fine on PPC; tested on a
 PowerBook G4, running 10.5. Though in that case, the compiler used was GCC
 4.2.

 On our 10.6_x32 buildbot, as well as on my 32-bit MacBookPro running 10.6,
 Clang 9.0 is being used. Dunno if that makes any difference...?
