 As a work-around to install it anyway. I have edited the build directories
 .pc files and removed all destroot directories.

 sudo rm -rf
 /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_devel_glib2/glib2/work/destroot*
