Comment:

 Brief update: I see the same thing on local builds of pretty all MariaDB
 ports. I've looked into this a little bit & find that it's probably OK;
 this is just how CMake is doing its thing, for better or worse. CMake
 might get tweaked to work a little better, but otherwise I don't see
 myself spending the time to fix this. If others disagree please state so &
 also please feel free to dig into this yourself! I'm closing this ticket
 as "won't fix"; please reopen if you want it fixed and, preferably, can
 provide a fix yourself.
