 although it looks like it might not be as bad as first glance, because a
 number of the tests fail with this:
 {{{
 dyld: Library not loaded: @loader_path/libdazzle-1.0.0.dylib
 }}}
 and so might be significantly improved by our DYLD tiger trick.
