 I have used this port for a long time, but it recently stopped working as
 expected.  I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but now it won't build.
 The first error I can find in the log file is;

 :info:build collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
 }}}


 I'm on MacOS 10.15.7 and macports version 2.7.1.
