 Ah, yes.  The ports-tree mirrors were stale at the time, but the confusing
 thing was that 10.9 worked.  That was because it installed that one from
 binary, while the 10.7 and 10.8 cmakes had previously been infected with
 "gratuitous universality", and were trying to build from source.
