 hopefully this helps somebody stuck with a broken system, but I decided on
 a whim to try to install glib2 without x11 support (because come on, are
 you really using x11?); so `sudo port install glib2 -x11`... and it
 worked! This doesn't mean, of course, that we don't try to resolve
 whatever the issue is that causes the install on arm64 to fail, but, for
 me, this helped me get past this to a working system.
