 For whatever reason `--enable-multilib` doesn't work for `gcc` in
 Macports. But you mentioned that earlier too, I recall.
 What is the difference in terms of resulting binaries though – in cases of
 multilib vs no multilib, but muniversal? (And I rather rebuild ports early
 that later, personally: fewer ports to rebuild.)
