 There are a number of problems with the current version on the Mac (at
 least under Monterey), including needing to resize the window or forcing a
 redraw in order to get the window to update (this includes, but is not
 limited to, getting a signal list for a module, drawing the cursor, or
 updating the signals on the screen either via scroll or using the 'Time'
 menu). The newest version, 3.3.111 (available from
 http://gtkwave.sourceforge.net) does not seem to suffer from these
 difficulties!

 Workaround: download the app version of gtkwave from source forge (link
 above). New wave files may be analyzed by dragging and dropping (which
 isn't particularly convenient for a command-line driven workflow, but it
 does work).
