 I also reran the tests on 10.5 PPC a 2nd time. And once again, they passed
 without any failures. (Apart from the issue with dates, which I'll patch
 shortly.)

 Pete, is that patch the ''only'' change you've made to your port? I want
 to be sure we're comparing apples-to-apples.
