 Here's the thing: We have a mountain of old neglected tickets like this.
 And I've spent a tremendous amount of time digging through them over the
 past few months.

 So if you could please close this issue
 - either by fixing (my vote), or rejecting as 'wontfix' - I'd really
 appreciate it!
