 I can't build boost171 on Tiger unless I tweak the compilers PG as well.
 The compilers PortGroup is adding the rpath flag on Tiger, and that needs
 to be fixed.

 The code to return the gcc version seems to be broken -- on Tiger, it
 returns UNKNOWN.

 I guess to TCL, "UNKNOWN" is >= 10, so the rpath is added.
