 For most ports, setting worksrcdir correctly is all that's needed to avoid
 problems. If there are ports where it's difficult to work out the value of
 worksrcdir a priori, I'd be open to having an option that can be set to
 enable the behaviour (though I think renaming rather than symlinking would
 still be safer in that case.)
