 (VICE emulator mac maintainer here, we use MacPorts to make our Intel
 binaries for macOS 10.10+)

 This problem is fixed in 3.24.36, which Homebrew have updated to in the
 last couple of days.

 Could MacPorts please update to 3.24.36?
