 I can't build it either. After about 16 minutes of CPU time (I'm not sure
 how much clock time), the process's memory usage was more than 50 GB and
 it was doing no I/O at all, so I killed it.

 I'm running MacOS 12.2 on a 2018 Macbook Pro.
