 To expand on @kencu's comment, the {{{mrustc-rust}}} port will install
 versions of {{{rustc}}} and {{{cargo}}} into {{{/opt/local/libexec/mrustc-
 rust/bin}}}. These generally cannot be used to build other Rust ports, but
 you're welcome to try them to build non-MacPorts projects.

 I'd check back in a few weeks, as there is ongoing (daily) effort to bring
 "real" Rust to Snow Leopard, but it's not a small task.
