 On [http://ngwww.ucar.edu the ncarg web site] it says:

 > Please note that NCAR Graphics is no longer supported, and that this
 website continues to exist solely for reference. Our current project is
 GeoCAT, a collection of Python packages related to NCL.

 Is it feasible to add a port for GeoCAT?

 If so, I wonder if it completely replaces ncarg such that we would not
 need to keep the ncarg port.
 I see only one port depending on ncarg -- py-nio; not sure if it can use
 GeoCAT instead of ncarg.
