 Dear all,

 I just installed qgis ({{{qgis3 +python39 +postgresql12}}}) via macports
 on MacOS 11.6.4 "Big Sur". Installation went fine, but when I try to start
 the application, it aborts. Trying to directly call it from the command
 line, I get the following error:

 {{{
 /Applications/MacPorts/QGIS3.app/Contents/MacOS/QGIS3
 Application path not initialized
 Application path not initialized
 Warning: QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath: Please instantiate the
 QApplication object first
 Warning: QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath: Please instantiate the
 QApplication object first
 Warning: QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath: Please instantiate the
 QApplication object first
 Fatal: QPixmap: Must construct a QGuiApplication before a QPixmap
 Abort trap: 6
 }}}
 I am not that familiar with QT and guess that this is some variable that
 should be set by the installation - or which may not be evaluated when
 starting from the Finder. Would it help to share the error report?

 Best, Lars.
