Comment (by misc-activities):

 I added the line 'configure.args-append -DUSE_TCMALLOC=OFF' in the
 cmake-1.0.tcl and cmake-1.1.tcl files and was able to get it to install.
 Is there a better way to temporarily set cmake options with MacPorts?
