New description:

 Per issue:65232, user files are inaccessible when launched via app bundle
 on Big Sur or Monterey. However, no warnings or errors are displayed in
 the app; selecting various directories simply displays an empty list.

 Granting "Full Disk Access" to the app bundle - via the macOS Security &
 Privacy settings - makes no discernible difference.
