 I suspect this old version of mplayer-devel is incompatible with dav1d
 1.0.0, which was recently released. The mplayer-devel port hasn't been
 updated in over two years, while the mplayer port is still on the six-
 year-old 1.3.0 version. Both ports should be updated to newer versions. If
 the problem remains, report the bug to the developers of mplayer.
