#65365: Files won't open
--------------------+--------------------

 Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 2.7.2
 Keywords: | Port: recoll
--------------------+--------------------
With the default settings, after searching for some keyword, if I click
"Open" in in the results list (a PDF document result) I get a dialog with
the error message "The viewer specified in mimeview for application/pdf:
evince is not found. Do you want to start the preferences dialog ?"

If I click on the "Preview" I get a dialog with error message "Error
loading the document: no permission. Attempting to display from stored
text." and once I click OK I see the window with the extracted text.

If I get to the preferences and change the viewer for application/pdf from
the default "evince --page-index=%p --find=%s %f" to "open %f" clicking
"Open" gives another error message "Can't access file:
/Users/user/subdirectory/filename.pdf". If I click "Preview" I still get
 the previous behaviour.

Now it gets interesting. If instead of running recoll by clicking the icon
I run it from a Terminal ($ recoll) both "Open" and "Preview" work as
 expected.

Any suggestions? Seems to be something related to permissions? I have not
customised the installation path of macports or anything.

 Thanks
