 I have not adjusted any settings in my MacPorts configuration files or on
 any other port in this install. I uninstalled Inkscape and changed my
 portfile back to the original configuration and ran the install. This time
 the file: inkscape-1.2_2022-05-15_dc2aedaf03.tar.xz was found
 https://distfiles.macports.org/inkscape and installed.

 I am not sure what the issue was that day, but I thought that it was
 trying to retrieve the file from the Inkscape website at which that file
 does not exist.

 I apologize for the noise.
