Comment:

 The qof port says the homepage is at sourceforge. The
 [https://sourceforge.net/projects/qof/ sourceforge page] says it has moved
 to alioth. The [ticket:59057 alioth service was discontinued] years ago.
 The
 [https://web.archive.org/web/20180413005909/https://alioth.debian.org/projects/qof/
 last archived version of the homepage on alioth] says the project is
 obsolete; I see no other information or downloads there. There is only one
 port that depends on qof: gnotime. There are no ports depending on
 gnotime.

 However I did find a [https://github.com/codehelp/qof GitHub repository
 for qof] which has a three commits past the 0.8.8 release, the
 [https://github.com/codehelp/qof/commit/27ffca90e50d68d97042b1f38c2ac2d6939f2c11
 first of which] looks like it will fix this problem.
