 Anyway, you now have the skinny on why MacPorts has always insisted, as
 much as possible, on the SDK that matches the system.

 This goes back to the very beginning, and it won’t be changing unless
 something really major happens that forces it to change.

 You are always free to set up your own systems however you want to, of
 course!
