 you can use that ghc to bootstrap to newer versions -- I just haven't got
 around to it yet. ghc needs a few patches to build on 10.6.8 -- I haven't
 upstreamed those either, and don't intend to any time soon.

 I have no idea if you can use that ghc to build for PPC again though.
 Maybe.
