 This is the classic error we see with libgcc mismatch noted since we
 upgraded to libgcc 7.5
 {{{
 malloc: *** error for object 0xa00463dc: Non-aligned pointer being freed
 }}}

 there is a workaround in the legacysupport PG that usually works.
