 No, I didn't have one. I didn't see it listed as a required dependency.

 I've just installed xquarz from the link an Thunar does open it, however
 its behavior is... there are no icons, whenever the window gets the focus
 it becomes black... but I think this is not because of Thunar but because
 of xquarz. I got error like this:
