 I just wanted to point out that I believe what most users need is not
 specifically RocketChat, but any chat system that is not as exclusive as
 IRC.  Realistically, IRC is only practical for people who can afford
 access to a computer than runs and has internet access 24/7.  If I ask a
 question on IRC, I must stay connected until an answer arrives, which may
 take a couple of hours.

 In contrast to IRC, modern chat systems keep chat history, have usable
 notification systems, and tend to be much more accessible.

 So, if RocketChat is problematic, I hope that MacPorts will consider
 another modern system.
