 `boost176` uses a `user-config.jam` file that contains the faulty
 `-Wl,-rpath,/opt/local/lib/libgcc`. Since I do not know how it is built, I
 checked possible template files in the archive like
 `boost_1_76_0/libs/beast/tools/user-config.jam` or (less probable)
 `boost_1_76_0/tools/build/example/user-config.jam`. Both contain no hint
 of an `ld` setting like `-Wl,-rpath,/opt/local/lib/libgcc`. On Tiger it is
 introduced while creating the build environment on `Tiger` from the faulty
 new version of
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/nue.de.rsync.macports.org/macports/release/tarballs/ports/_resources/port1.0/group/compilers-1.0.tcl.
