Comment:

 I had no idea anybody actually used the gui.  If you don't mind, what do
 you do with it?

 I had that error once while doing the update but it went away after a
 rebuild.  I will try to look into the issue.

 As a workaround, try activating the old version.  Silicondust have not
 touched the code base for the gui in years.  AFAIK, the old version of the
 gui ought to be able to access the new version of the library.
