 This seems to be a mk-qthelp.pl problem that has occurred on the GNU
 Octave board: [https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?62648].  Users have tried
 some patches to avoid the same infinite loop problem we see here with some
 success.  I aint the guy to try it myself!
