 Based on a cursory review of upstream issues, I don't see any such open
 issues. And indeed, upstream seems to have tackled the key issues for ARM,
 Big Sur and Monterey, etc.

 So for your Quartz test, did you ensure that all dependencies - including
 `glib2`, and everything else - is also installed with `+quartz`?
