 My understanding is that ports should have prebuilt binaries present on
 https://packages.macports.org/. However, there's no {{{git}}} folder
 there: https://packages.macports.org/git

 Is this a bug, or am I missing something? AFAIK, binary distribution is
 not against git's licensing terms.
