 Yeah, I pointed to that issue [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/pull/16449 in the PR] . Pity it doesn't work with High Sierra and
 older.

 I remember to wait patiently to GHA to finish in the PR, and was surprised
 that only Big Sur (11) and Monterey (12) were being tested. Obviously, the
 checks passed.

 Not sure if there is any way, within MacPorts, to restrict the OS versions
 that a package version works with. Maybe the only solution is to revert
 again, sigh.
