 Hi. Thanks for the advice. I did update to 2.7.2 as suggested, and the
 error persists.

 I also ran "sudo port clean --all libgcc-devel" before attempting the
 upgrade -- the error persists.

 [should I Modify the Ticket to 2.7.2?]
