 I did my local copies already, but other things need to come up at the
 same time, so I’m on glib2-upstream, now…

 To start, can we roll glib2 up a version please?  Make glib2-devel become
 glib, etc?  That would help.

 For the other issue, If you get stuck finding a consistent file to depend
 on in the build, just thrown in a cookie in post-destroot yourself…
 nothing says we can’t use our own cookie files (and it would actually be
 much simpler if that was all we used all the time on all ports, but I
 leave those politics for you to play with).
