 Sorry, I missed all this, months ago, apparently. I have learned to expect
 the bug report title changing, but it appears my original comment was
 edited, which would have (should have) included that my build fail was on
 10.14, not 10.8, 10.9, & 10.10. I vaguely recall an explanation on the
 mailinglist, but of course I have forgotten. Am I doomed to have libgcc9
 seizing my upgrades forever?
