#67334: legacy-support @1.0.9 does not install on PPC Tiger, Mac OS X 10.4.11,

 This made `lbzip2` work again. Another cause of the failures were almost
 100 core files like these:

 This can explain why no `whois` version could exist – no disk space left
 for it? Tiger is now upgrading `OpenSSL`.
