 I noticed this issue on 10.7 (although currently this one is now broken),
 10.11, 10.13 ....
 Does it work in newer version of mac?
 I have no issues on Linux with GTK.

 I noticed that since the table has two identical trees, usually if a file
 displays blank on the left it will display on the right or vice-versa.
 Could be some kind of memory issue, some re-using... strange. It used to
 work. A written not meld itself, but one of the dependencies which I could
 not track down.
