 Marcus has not been available for about a year now, however.

 The current build system has been beyond the understanding of anyone else,
 unfortunately.

 All the older system support, that macports prides itself on, may have to
 be abandoned with rust… and as several key parts of the gnome system only
 build with rust I understand, that spells the end of that….

 Some pegged rust version might suffice for a short while….
