 The history bug I believe I have resolved in the main branch. For the rest
 I have no idea what I did the last time. But with a few more hints on how
 the problems look like I probably will find the error: The last times you
 described complex problems so accurately that it was possible to narrow
 down the problem to a few lines of code without being able to reproduce
 it.
