 My apologies for the delay. I have been running into issues refactoring
 the Portfile when utilizing the PortGroup makefile 1.0 as referenced in
 the aforementioned ticket #66751.

 The attached Portfile or alternatively diff will facilitate updating the
 2.18 version of snac to the current upstream version of 2.23.

 I'll continue to make efforts to refactor the Portfile to close the
 previous ticket as well, but that seems to be taking me more time and
 energy and focus than I have been able to muster thus far (not for lack of
 trying, but I didn't have any progress that seemed worth submitting as a
 PR).
